We currently use the worlds leading 3-D software for the design and detailing of our steelwork contracts, StruCad has the capacity to produce a wireframe model by inputting section properties on a pre-constructed grid layout and thereafter the connection plates and bolts are added thus completing the detailing of the steelwork section, StruCad generates all fabrication and assembly drawings along with material lists which detail the length and grade of each individual item. Our erection teams are aided by the 3-D structural views which show mark numbers corresponding to fabrication drawings. Our cladding details are produced using 2-D software which allows us to be more refined, and therefore adding more quality within our details which further assists our site teams with installation.

The innovative system reduces fabrication and erection downtime which enables our estimating department to be more competitive at tender stage.
